Smeltertown: A Stark History

smelterytown is a callus on the call up amongst the united States and Mexico. Once a town in full of life, a confederation where no one even bothered to roll their calculate door, smelterytown is now a ghost town. Only the verbalize of the wind as it beats against the grave makers can be heard in this desolate place. In the background, and barely open against the brown and gray-haired landscape, is a chain link shut in separating the cemetery fro m a dusty, empty road. Beyond the road a gli! mpse of the tatterdemalion ASARCO Smelter Works, an ore refinery and at one time the economic center of Smeltertown. This photograph and its title hint to Smeltertowns history. Smeltertown was a border town located in Texas, northwesterly of El Paso.
